Initial contact with Darren and his team was at preconstruction stage, where their team supported the bid by being proactive in providing commercial advice as well as value engineering options to ensure we designed to a budget. To that end after a rigorous competitive tendering process, Massey Cladding Solutions secured a £4m package consisting of – vertical cladding and standing seam roof as well as hot melt build up roofing systems. The installation have been successful to all 5 buildings where the site team worked closely with the project team, proactively communicating daily ensuring critical programme milestones were achieved whilst delivering a quality installation. Both Health and Safety is a clear core value as the Masseys workforce demonstrated the correct attitudes and behaviours. A key factor on the success of the project has been designing to ensure the building safety act was never compromised by specifying compliant products and built-up systems ensuring full and relevant manufacturers certification was achieved Massey also maximised carbon reduction at every opportunity whilst reducing waste and ensuring the site was always clean and presentable for stakeholder site tours. ”
